Trampled by Turtles

This weekend combined a few of my favorite things! Live music, Trampled by Turtles and some of my best guy friends! Friday mid-morning Riley drove down and we got to catch up and he got to meet some of my friends here. Later afternoon my bro (Ryan) and friends Mitch and Alex came down to go to the Trampled by Turtles concert. We arrived at the outdoor venue around 7 and listen to two opening acts and then tramped went on at 9:30. AH! They are so good live. Literally I just love them. They are a mix of bluegrass, rock and just plain old amazing string instruments! So good! They are a local Minnesota band from Duluth. Seriously look them up! And in addition to seeing an amazing band I got to spend some quality time with my favorite guys (we even took some time to take band pics of them;)! It was a very fabulous weekend.

Much love,
Sara

A while back (about a month ago) a small group of us went to the Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros concert. It was the first concert of the summer and set the tone of what was to come. The concert was at a great outdoor venue in the city (with free parking...we're poor college students) and boy was it a hoppin' time. I have been to quite a few concerts before but this one had the greatest energy. Everyone was dancing and jumping and singing along, it was great!I love me some live music. After the concert we headed back to Lewis' home and he made us egg, spinach and fetta burritos...yum! It was a perfect night with my amazing friends.

Nasty hair!

Much love,

Foster the People

Last night Riley and I got to see Foster the People. It was incredible! The opening acts were Kimbra and Tokyo Police Club and they were amazing too! I love when live music sounds better than the album and boy did all three sound amazing. We were lucky enough to be able to go for free too. Riley's dad has connections so he got us tickets, Thanks Mr. B! If you need some new music look up these three groups, so great. Goodness I love music.

IT WAS SO GOOD!
Thanks nice man for taking our picture after the concert:)
