Stuck

I am stuck and uninspired. I don't know what to write here on the blog or what I want posts to look like right now. I have no real 'fun' things going on to blog about so here I am typing this about nada. Though I don't necessarily feel like I need to have 'fun' things here all the time, I'm just kinda blah about everything right now. I feel like I have nothing interesting to say and no one will care (Sara pity party for one)...something I assume other bloggers have felt before?

For me, I think it has to deal with the fact that the new school year started yesterday so truly nothing has happened except for an incident with a curling iron and my face (a burn on my face is a cute look for the first days of class, right?), as well as an outlet and my finger (got electrocuted today...#winning).
Injuries tend to happen for me when I am stressed or moving through life to quickly.

So now I am going to try (try being the key word) to slow down....but slowing down is hard when its the second day of school and you already have 5 chapters to read for classes asap, lots of meetings for activities and plain old life trying to fit in. Plus, I'm trying to expand the friend group and meet new people and as much as I am a extrovert...I need my time to just be. I'm an analyzer and need the time to process everything and its been a constant go since I moved in. AH!
Well thats enough of a ramble for now...haha!
So heres to the new school year and new adventures. Wish me luck friends!

Much love,
Sara

  1. Oh man, I know this feeling all too well. I wish there was some magical way to all of a sudden feel inspired, but then that would just be too easy. I really hope you find some inspiration soon since I love your posts! And I hope school is going well, I definitely feel you on already having too much to do. Bleh. Don't hesitate to send me an email if you need to vent!

  2. Slow down and hang in there! It's so annoying when life gets in the way of fun hobbies like blogging! If you got nothing to say, that's ok. Writing everyday helps the brain muscle prepared to look for topics, though. Said the girl who's barely posted this week...

  4. Girlfriend I most definitely know how you feel. Blogging is not always easy, and it's a constant learning process, and there are absolutely times when I and every other blogger I know feels uninspired and doesn't know what to write. For me personally, I made a commitment a while ago to post five times a week. Period. If I'm uninspired or really tired, chances are that post is not going to come to me super quickly. But I do it anyway, even if it takes four times longer than usual. I don't always write personal posts about my life because let's face it, my life is absolutely not exciting every single day. But I do write about things that inspire me, and hope that they inspire other people, too.

Set goals for yourself, commit to them, and don't worry about every post being perfect. Blogs grow and get better over time. I hope you have a great weekend and that the beginning of your semester goes well! And I hope that at least a bit of this ridiculously long comment was somewhat helpful!
